Vintage Disneyland Charm TWA Rocket to the Moon

I love this! It's a vintage charm from Disneyland circa 1955 (though the seller isn't completely sure about that).  It's still in its original packaging which even has the price tag still attached - 10 cents!

You may have to pay a little more than that now, though.

GE Carousel of Progress/Progressland Ad

In honor of my friend LoMac's birthday, I present a bit of history featuring her favorite attraction, the Carousel of Progress. Though not strictly a Disneyland item as this is an ad from the '64 World's Fair, since the attraction ended up in Disneyland I figured I could get away with this.

Wish I knew who the artist was on this... It looks a little Hench-y to me.

Disneyland Monsanto Adventure Thru Inner Space Booklet

Another one I'm tempted to buy. It's a 10-page booklet featuring Adventure Thru Inner Space from 1967 (in my opinion, the glory days of Tomorrowland, how I miss it so). Beautiful artwork; one page depicting the "Mighty Eye."

Booklets don't take up a lot of space, do they? Do they?!

Sigh...

Schuco Disneyland Monorail

This is a 1/90 scale Schuco Disneyland Monorail car. I understand these are highly collectible, so if you're into the Monorail stuff, you'd best jump on it.

1950s Disneyland Submarine Sunglasses

Sold at Disneyland in the 1950s, this unusual Submarine Voyage souvenir can be worn on your face.  I often wonder about specific souvenirs... why someone thought that a particular souvenir was a good idea... This is one of those times. Not that I don't enjoy the design of these sunglasses because I do, but they're sunglasses... with submarines... on them.

So there you go.

Disneyland Mary Blair Mural Tile Chip

Wow, am I torn on an item like this. It's a Disneyland artifact, which you know I love, and it's Mary Blair, my favorite Disney artist. But the fact this chip was ripped from my beloved Mary Blair mural in Tomorrowland makes me die a little inside.

But get it for yourself if you want.

Mission to Mars Map Prop

This is where I get upset that I have no room for this kind of stuff... This is a map that was actually used in the now-sent-to-Yesterland Mission to Mars attraction. Complete with Disney certification. Sigh.

1956 Disneyland Autopia Driver's License

Apparently,  in the '50s, you needed a driver's license to drive on the Autopia. Now they'll let anyone drive (if you are this tall).

Peoplemover Magnet

I think I had one of these. I think I broke it. Bummer.

Space Mountain Sculpture

Oh, I love me the Space Mountain. Favorite ride at Disneyland.

About

  • "Disneyland Finds" is a blog devoted to finding you interesting Disneyland collectibles and memorabilia. I can't buy this stuff... No room! But you can. More...

Why...?

  • "Why doesn't your description match the item shown?" or "Why is there no item?" The eBay widget only lasts for 90 days, then defaults to a similar item. After the original listing expires, it may show something that's sort of like what I originally posted, or it may not show anything at all. To be safe, please read the seller's description before bidding!
