1970s Disneyland "Walt Disney Story" original sign

See, now, this is the stuff I look for. This is a sign from the 1970s that hung outside the Opera House advertising the Walt Disney Story show. It's not a poster; it's the entire sign. Please buy it before I'm tempted to do so.

Disneyland Original Main Street City Hall Doors

If I had a house, I would buy these and make them my front doors. In fact, I would even build a house around these doors. Seriously - how cool would it be to have the Disneyland City Hall doors as your front doors?  True, they're painted to look like mahogany and oak, but STILL, PEOPLE! COME ON!

The ORIGINAL! DISNEYLAND! CITY HALL! DOORS! As your FRONT DOORS!

I would tell every single person who entered my home, "Did you know these were originally the Disneyland City Hall doors?" even if they already knew.

And, AW MAN! They're in Corona, CA, where I'm from! Shoot.

Disneyland Upjohn Drugstore Vitamins

There used to be an Upjohn Pharmacy on Main Street where New Century Timepieces is now. You could actually buy vitamins and stuff there (seems odd now, but Main Street used to represent a real working Main Street, not just a place to buy plush), and this is a rare survivor of that store.

Be careful... The vitamins expired in 1968.

Disneyland Plaque - Opening Day Speech

This is a reproduction of the plaque that resides on Main Street and features Walt's opening day speech. The seller doesn't offer much more info, except it was "given to some cast members." Not sure when it was issued, if it was a limited run, etc.

Still cool, though.

Disneyland Wooden Cigar Box

This cigar box used to hold three cigars and was purchased from the Tobacco Shop on Main Street. It looks like the hinges have been replaced with tape, but it's a cool item nonetheless.

Disneyland Matchbooks - Tobacco Shop!

The two matchbooks on either side don't impress me that much, but the long-defunct Tobacco Shop one does! The Native American is still standing out on Main Street, I believe...
