Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Crown Jewel

Img_3196ss3 More wonderful things as they're being removed from the Disneyland 50th birthday celebration! This is a decoration used on Sleeping Beauty Castle; a section of one of the "crown" decorations perched high on the spires above Disneyland. The photos don't really have a sense of scale, but this sucker is over four feet high and weighs over 200 pounds. True, there are a few gems missing, but that's fair for something like this.

Pick up in Florida is preferred, but you could have it shipped to you for approximately $350.

Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Flags

Disneylandsleepingbeautybanner Oh, wow! There are about 10 flags fresh off of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle! They were hung from the castle until they were changed out for the 50th anniversary celebration. The photo is of one of the flags; click on the links below to view the other colors and styles available.

Disneyland Original Main Street City Hall Doors

Disneylandcityhalldoors If I had a house, I would buy these and make them my front doors. In fact, I would even build a house around these doors. Seriously - how cool would it be to have the Disneyland City Hall doors as your front doors?  True, they're painted to look like mahogany and oak, but STILL, PEOPLE! COME ON!

The ORIGINAL! DISNEYLAND! CITY HALL! DOORS! As your FRONT DOORS!

I would tell every single person who entered my home, "Did you know these were originally the Disneyland City Hall doors?" even if they already knew.

And, AW MAN! They're in Corona, CA, where I'm from! Shoot.

Disneyland 50th Anniversary Sign

Disneylandsign50anniversary Again with the Disneyland artifacts! Oh how I love thee, artifacts... This is a huge metal sign that hung in Disneyland during the 50th anniversary celebration. It says it's a "Mickey icon," but I'm not sure where the Mickey comes into play, unless it used to have ears or something. The "ribbon" is broken on one end and it weighs 45 pounds (which means the shipping is on the pricey side). Nevertheless, pretty darn cool.

Disneyland Actual Piece of the Matterhorn

God help me, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. It's a rock. I know it's a rock. But it's an ACTUAL PIECE OF THE MATTERHORN! That makes it a Disneyland artifact, and that makes it WANT.

Disneyland Mary Blair Mural Tile Chip

Wow, am I torn on an item like this. It's a Disneyland artifact, which you know I love, and it's Mary Blair, my favorite Disney artist. But the fact this chip was ripped from my beloved Mary Blair mural in Tomorrowland makes me die a little inside.

But get it for yourself if you want.

Mission to Mars Map Prop

This is where I get upset that I have no room for this kind of stuff... This is a map that was actually used in the now-sent-to-Yesterland Mission to Mars attraction. Complete with Disney certification. Sigh.

Disneyland Parking Lot Simba Sign

I love Disneyland signage. In fact, I'm rather partial to what are usually called "artifacts," props and other items that have actually been used in the park. Here's a Disneyland parking lot sign that was used in 1998 before California Adventure was built.

Now, give me a call when one of the ORIGINAL parking lot signs come up for sale (I'd like Kanga or Eeyore; for some reason I always ended up in those sections).

Skyway Cabin Safety Sign

This is a sign reminding Skyway riders to keep their hands and arms inside, don't swing the cabin, and, like, don't jump out. Not sure if it's used or not... I would rather it be used and scuffed a little. That actually adds to the value for me. But that's just me, I think.

About

  • "Disneyland Finds" is a blog devoted to finding you interesting Disneyland collectibles and memorabilia. I can't buy this stuff... No room! But you can. More...

Why...?

  • "Why doesn't your description match the item shown?" or "Why is there no item?" The eBay widget only lasts for 90 days, then defaults to a similar item. After the original listing expires, it may show something that's sort of like what I originally posted, or it may not show anything at all. To be safe, please read the seller's description before bidding!
