Once again, not really "Disneyland" except the packaging says so, but how can you argue when the packaging looks like this? It also includes punch-out paper characters to dress up your otherwise drab, Disney-less cake.

These types of things confound me. What makes this item a "Disneyland" item except for the fact that is says "Disneyland" on the box? But look! It has ABS brakes! COOL.

Disneyland Plaque - Opening Day Speech

This is a reproduction of the plaque that resides on Main Street and features Walt's opening day speech. The seller doesn't offer much more info, except it was "given to some cast members." Not sure when it was issued, if it was a limited run, etc.

Still cool, though.

More paper gift bags! I've never seen these before... Love that pink one. Maybe someday I'll get a bunch of vintage shopping bags and make a mounted collage and frame them. That would be cool.

1950s Disneyland Submarine Sunglasses

Sold at Disneyland in the 1950s, this unusual Submarine Voyage souvenir can be worn on your face.  I often wonder about specific souvenirs... why someone thought that a particular souvenir was a good idea... This is one of those times. Not that I don't enjoy the design of these sunglasses because I do, but they're sunglasses... with submarines... on them.

Obligatory Disneyland Ticket Book A - E

Someone on my other blog mentioned she would like to have a Disneyland ticket book. Knowing how prevalent they are on eBay, I figured I'd put this up just as a reminder.

Disneyland Fabric Drape Panel

This is a little unusual... It's a drape panel from the '50s featuring Disney characters and attractions. If you're the creative type (and I'm not), you could make a pillow or a wall hanging out of it. Or, as the seller suggests, "use as intended... a drape."

That's just crazy talk.

I've seen just the oil can come up from time to time, but not the outfit with box. I didn't even know there was an outfit with box. Too bad about the missing hat and insert, though. Ah, well.
